Wendy Williams on Bad Blood and Forgiveness with Diddy, New Apps & Building Her Business

Original NYC radio host and now a multi faceted businesswoman, Wendy Williams, sat in on Sway In The Morning. Along with her booming personality, Williams brought some lessons to share with the audience.

The nearly 53-year-old has been through it all, from starting as an overnight radio girl at what is now Hot97 to being pushed out of the city by Diddy and coming back stronger than before. Now, along with her talk show, she has a production company, a clothing line, and two new apps. The apps, Wendy Digital and Wenmoji, are available in both the Apple and Android’s app stores.

In the second clip, Wendy persuades Heather B to perform in her upcoming concert July 23. The event, Wendy Williams All White Mixtape Beach Party, will be held at Coney Island’s Ford Amphitheater and feature Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Big Daddy Kane, Naughty By Nature, and more.

Video: Wendy Williams Calls Out Chris Brown After Jay-Z Comments

Wendy Williams didn’t hold back any punches in response to Chris Brown’s comments in his cover story for the October issue of JET Magazine. In the article, the “Love More” artist explained that much of the negative backlash he receives from the media stems from racism. Unlike most black males in the entertainment industry, Brown says that there have only been a handful of entertainers that get a “pass” from a so-called white audience for their actions. One those artists being Jay-Z, who often raps about his past drug-dealing days and a well-known stabbing incident between him and producer Lance “Un” Rivera back in 2001.
