When Hit-Boy graced the stage of the legendary Watch the Throne World Tour in 2011, JAY-Z famously announced that Hit, producer of the Throne duo’s classic ‘Niggas in Paris’ record, was the only guest artist to do so to that point. It was a hell of an honor, especially for a non-vocalist, which Hit still was at the time.
Since then, the Oakland native has gone on a massive tear, producing arena-rocking anthems for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Drake, the late, great Nipsey Hussle and more. And he’s done it all without making the same beat twice.
On this Guitar Center edition of Rhythm Roulette, Hit-Boy brings that dexterity to the proving grounds.
