Jay-Z Gains Permission to Perform Atop Ed Sullivan Theater Marquee on July 8


Hov continues to make moves. The hip-hop genius has gained permission from NYC to perform atop the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee for the Late Show with David Letterman on July 8. Jay-Z needed approval because his performance would mean closing Broadway around the theater, which runs from West 53rd to 54th Streets, during rush hour. More details are sure to surface as the performance inches closer, stay tuned.
