Release Reminder: Air Jordan 10 “Old Royal”

Sneakerheads are now eagerly anticipating the release of the Air Jordan 10 “Old Royal”. Dressed in white tumbled and patent leather, this non-OG colorway takes on a completely different look, utilizing hints of grey in combination with old royal accents throughout the inner liner, lace eyelets, tongue and outsole. Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Retro

These kicks feature the iconic Jordan black/sport red-white-cement grey colorway, and even bring in the elephant print on the forefoot laces-strap. But it’s White’s trademark paint splatter and brush strokes that make this shoe stand out. In speaking about the project White commented, “the absolute intent was to make something that actually looked animated and dynamic, explosive and alive even when standing still. I wanted the shoe to almost look like it had been dipped in paint and is exploding with energy.” The Dave White Air Jordan 1 Retro will be available in North America, Europe and China on February 11. Jordan Spizike “Bordeaux”

After teasing the public about the release of the Jordan Spizike “Bordeaux” with Spike Lee’s gifting of a pair to US President Barack Obama, Jordan brand officially announces the visuals and release date for the latest rendition. Featuring the customary cement/elephant print on the toebox and reverse heel, the pair emboldens its understated Neutral Grey base with strong hits of Varsity Maize, Laser Blue and Varsity Red throughout. These will retail for $175 USD and release on February 4th.
Air Jordan X “Old Royal”

After arriving in its much-anticipated “Chicago” colorway a few days ago, Jordan brand readies its second 2012 installment with the introduction of the Air Jordan X “Old Royal” iteration. Despite its non-OG status, the pair is likely to get some significant play from sneakerheads and collectors alike due to its minimal and wearable upper that is mocked up in white tumbled leather with hints of the Old Royal blue strewn throughout. The pair arrives at a slightly lower retail than the rest at $150 USD. Look for this Air Jordan X to release through select Nike Accounts beginning February 11.

Releasing in June, is one of the original colorways of the Air Jordan 12 that released in 1997, the same year Michael Jordan won his 5th championship. Nike “Year of the Dragon” Collection

Nike introduces a full-fledged dragon-inspired collection as part of the 2012 “Year of the Dragon” celebrations. Taking place over both performance and lifestyle connotations, the four-shoe collection includes the Air Force 1 Low Supreme, Air Jordan 2012, Kobe VII System Supreme and Zoom KD IV. Air Jordan Spizike “University Blue”

2012 is the Year of the Dragon and to celebrate the Chinese cultural festivities, Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball will release a combination of Orange and Blue colorways to coincide with the “Dragon” color theme. One of the newer “Year of the Dragon” inspired colorways to release, is the Air Jordan Spizike that was thought to be discontinued by the end of 2011.
