Jon Hope recently stopped by the WBRU/95.5 stations to chop it up Jay Postal. Jon Hope is the first in the series of artists from the RI and surrounding areas that will be getting interviewed by Postal in the upcoming weeks. In the 25-minute interview Jon Hope speaks on his return to the music scene, what held him back and why we didn’t get any music for so long, his buzzing single ‘Camp St. & Comstock’, how the single came about with his producer Drum God (formerly known as Taktix), and also how the record was received not only locally, but from fans all across the nation. They also speak on other artists and rappers in the city and the great talent coming out of this city of Providence and the state of Rhode Island. Jay also speaks on how A&R’s know what’s going on in Prov and how there are many ties and connections to A LOT of people in the music industry. Jon Hope plans to drop his album A Guy Named Harry sometime in 2015. In the meantime make sure to pick up his latest project #Mondubu.
